Sunday 31st of January

A month has past of 2010. It's gone really quick in my opinion but then again, time goes very quick.

Sunday today and I've got a cold...again. I don't know what have happened to my immune system lately. I get sick all the time. I really hope it doesn't get worse though. I'm going to Sweden next weekend and I don't want to be sick then. Now I'm going for a walk in the sunshine with Anna. I really hope the sun and the fresh air will help.

Sushi and shopping

Had a lovely day in the city today. Got lots of nice things and had some sushi which we actually haven't had in a while now so that was good.

Lovely day

When I woke up this morning I was kinda disappointed to see that it had been snowing again. I'm sick of snow, want spring and heat instead. However, the snowy clouds disappeared and the sun turned up instead. It was actually really, really nice to be outside, except for some slippery snow which left me with a big bruise on my butt.

Friday night

Now I'm just sitting here, relaxing and not doing anything. I'm so looking forward to a sleep-in tomorrow. It's going to be lovely.

On the menu at "Chez Hanna" tonight was:

Almost weekend

Oh, Thursday today! I'm so happy. I'm really looking forward to this weekend. I don't really have any plans which feels really good.

Started listening to Australian radio today. It was a bit of a pain to be honest. All these adds about things involving summer killed me. I ALSO WANT SUMMER!!! I'm really looking forward to when we move there. Actually get a bit of summer compare to Europe's shitty summers.

This will be me this weekend.

I miss our little dog. He's my little sweetheart. He's not very cuddly or social but he's incredibly cute. Next weekend I get to see him =)

Het is koud vandaag

...which means: "It is cold today" in Dutch. -3 is what the thermometer showed just before. Brr.

Yesterday we did exactly what you are suppose to do on a Sunday...nothing. We were good and went to the gym for a little while though, but after that we spent the whole night on the couch watching movie and ate chips with dip. Haven't had one of those days in quite a while. I always get so restless and feel like I need to do things (even though there's nothing in particular that I need to do). So it was really nice to just relax. We watched Inglorious Basterds. Really good movie. If you haven't seen it - see it.

Dinner party

Hi all,
I'm so happy that it's Sunday to be honest. Today I'm not going to do anything around the house. Yesterday I cleaned and cooked almost all day so today I'm just going to relax, maybe go to the gym though.
Had a really nice time last night though. The dinner turned out really good. Made vegetarian lasagna and for dessert I made a chocolate-pecan pie with some whipped cream. People seemed to like it so I was very happy. Got the most beautiful flowers from my guests, so pretty.

Woke up about an hour ago. It was so nice to wake up without the alarm. Today I need to do some cleaning and some preparing for our little dinner tonight. We're having some friends over and I'm really looking forward to it. Now I'm going to have some weekend breakfast; toast with eggs and bacon.

Friday at last

I haven't had a very exhausting work week, since I was sick Monday and Tuesday, but I really enjoy that it's Friday today. It is mostly such a lovely day and everyone is happy.
I got home from doing some grocery shopping just before. Since then I've prepared dinner which is gonna be marinated chicken with avocado salsa. Yum, yum.
After work I went on a little trip to the city because I needed to get some things. Of course I went in to my favourite store H&M and found some really good things that were on sale. Got the below three items for €19 (the original price would be almost €55!!!) so it was a very good deal. And the bag is the kind of bag that I've been looking for.

It's quite funny. In this country my two favourite stores are H&M and IKEA. Can you tell that I'm Swedish...? But seriously, you do get value for your money because if you compare to other stores it is cheaper. There is something about H&M in this country as well. In Sweden I never manage to find anything on sale at H&M because all the good things are gone but here I find things all the time. I guess Dutch people don't have the same taste as me.

Rubiks cube

I found this necklace and thought it would be a fun thing to get. Especially since we have a lot of Rubiks cubes in different shapes and sizes lying around here at home.

Today

This is what I look like today. Got the treggings (trousers+leggings) home from H&M yesterday. Love them already and I want lots of more ones. =)
